About Us

I am a Southern California native, and before I ever wore a badge, my life was defined by high-level performance. I spent eight years playing six seasons of professional baseball, followed by three years navigating the fast-paced mortgage industry. But my true calling came over 8½ years ago when I joined a large law enforcement agency in San Diego.

Today, I remain deeply rooted on the front lines of my department. I actively serve our agency as a Field Training Officer (FTO), a Terrorism Liaison Officer (TLO), and a member of the Honor Guard. Most importantly, my daily work focuses heavily on the wellness of our people—I am a core member of our Peer Support team and serve as both a Critical Incident Response K9 Handler and a Support K9 Handler, and proudly serve as an Ambassador for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. 

A career in emergency services changes you. Over nearly a decade on the streets, I have been directly involved in the heaviest incidents a first responder can face: two officer-involved shootings, an in-custody death, an active shooter event, performing CPR on an infant who ultimately did not survive, and being first on scene to multiple horrific fatal collisions.

The compounding weight of those calls took its toll. I have looked PTSD, depression, and severe anxiety dead in the eye. I have fought through the heavy internal departmental stressors that inevitably bleed into your personal life and strain the relationships with the people you love most. I know what the darkness feels like.

I built Honor, Serve, and Support because I realized we are losing too many of our brothers and sisters to a silent battle. The culture has trained us to bury the trauma, mask the pain, and project an image of invincibility.

We are changing that narrative. Our motto is simple: It’s okay to not be okay.

This organization was created to smash the stigma surrounding mental health in the first responder community. Through therapeutic scuba diving, peer-supported outdoor retreats, and specialized K9 intervention, we provide raw, honest, and effective spaces for tactical athletes to decompress, heal, and rebuild.
